Trade Street Residential, Inc. is a full service, vertically integrated, self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company focused on acquiring, owning, operating and managing apartment communities in mid-sized cities and suburban submarkets of larger cities primarily in the southeastern United States and Texas. The Company conducts substantially all of its operations through its operating partnership Trade Street Operating Partnership, LP. The Company owns and operates approximately 19 apartment communities containing 4,889 apartment units in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The Company also owns Midlothian Town Center - East, which is approved for 246 apartment units and 10,800 square feet of retail space, including a parking deck structure.
