About Hydrogenics Stock (TSE:HYG)

Hydrogenics Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, designs, develops, and manufactures hydrogen generation products based on water electrolysis technology; and fuel cell products based on proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology. It operates through two segments, OnSite Generation and Power Systems. The OnSite Generation segment offers alkaline electrolyzer products under the HySTAT and HyLYZER brands for indoor and outdoor applications; and modular PEM stack electrolyzers for energy storage applications. This segment sells its products to merchant gas companies, as well as end-users requiring high purity hydrogen produced on-site for industrial applications. The Power Systems segment provides power systems under the HyPM name for motive and stationary power applications, and prototype field tests, as well as aerospace, military, and other industries. This segment sells its products to original equipment manufacturers and drive systems integrators for motive power. The company sells its products through a direct sales force and network of distributors worldwide. Hydrogenics Corporation was incorporated in 1995 and is headquartered in Mississauga, Canada.
