The Brick Ltd. (The Brick) is a retailer of household furniture, mattresses, appliances and home electronics, operating under four banners: The Brick, United Furniture Warehouse, The Brick Mattress Store, and Urban Brick. The Company has two operating segments: Retail and Financial Services. The Company operates retail stores concentrating on the sales of furniture, mattresses, appliances and electronics. Retail customers are offered credit though the Brick Card which is funded and billed by unrelated external service providers. The Financial Services segment is primarily engaged in providing extended warranty services on products sold to customers of The Brick and credit insurance on balances that arise from customers' use of their Brick Card. As at December 31, 2011, The Brick operated 232 retail store, including 60 franchise locations. The Brick owns 100% of the limited partnership units of The Brick Warehouse LP. In March 2013, Leon's Furniture Ltd acquired Brick Ltd.

Cablevision Systems Corporation (Cablevision), through its subsidiary, CSC Holdings, LLC (CSC Holdings), operates cable operations business in the United States. The Company operates in three segments: Cable, Lightpath and Other. The Company's Cable segment offers Cable television service, which delivers multiple channels of video programming to subscribers who pay a monthly fee for the services they receive. The Company operates Lightpath segmeny, through its subsidiary, Cablevision Lightpath, Inc. (Lightpath), which provides Ethernet-based data, Internet, voice and video transport and managed services to the business market in the New York metropolitan area. Lightpath also provides managed information technology services to businesses, including hosted voice services, managed wireless fidelity, managed desktop and server backup, and managed collaboration services. The Other segment operations consist of the operations of Newsday, News 12 Networks and Cablevision Media Sales.

IBEX Technologies Inc., through its subsidiaries, manufactures and markets enzymes for biomedical use in Canada, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and internationally. It offers a portfolio of recombinant glycosaminoglycan lyases, including Heparinase I, Heparinase II, Heparinase III, Chondroitinase AC, and Chondroitinase B; collagen ELISAs for the study of synthesis and degradation of connective tissue components; collagen antibodies; and diamine oxidase liquid. The company also manufactures and markets a range of arthritis assays, which are used in osteoarthritis research. In addition, it provides lyophilization services for making disposable medical device components; and custom fermentation and contract manufacturing services. It serves manufacturers of medical devices, quality control labs, low molecular weight heparin manufacturers, and academic research institutions. IBEX Technologies Inc. was incorporated in 1972 and is based in Montreal, Canada.
