Its Industrial/Environmental Filtration segment manufactures and sells filtration products used in industrial and commercial processes, and in buildings and infrastructures of various types. Its liquid process filtration products include specialty industrial process liquid filters; filters for pharmaceutical processes and beverages; filtration systems, filters and coalescers for the oil and natural gas industry; filtration systems for aircraft refueling, anti-pollution, sewage treatment and water recycling; bilge water separators, and sand control filters for oil and gas drilling.

Colonial Properties Trust (the Trust) is a multifamily-focused self-administered equity real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns, operates and develops multifamily communities primarily located in the Sunbelt region of the United States. Its activities include full or partial ownership and operation of 153 properties as of December 31, 2011, located in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, development of new properties, acquisition of existing properties, build-to-suit development and the provision of management, leasing and brokerage services for commercial real estate. In September 2013, the Company announced the disposition of its Colonial Promenade Tannehill retail asset in Birmingham, Alabama. In October 2013, Mid America Apartment Communities Inc and Colonial Properties Trust announced the completion of the merger of the two companies.
