iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Eastern Europe ETF (the Fund), formerly iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Eastern Europe Index Fund, is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Eastern Europe Index (the Index). The Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure equity market performance of the four emerging market countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Russia. The Fund invests in a particular segment of the securities markets and seeks to track the performance of a securities index that is not representative of the market as a whole. The Fund is designed to be used as part of broader asset allocation strategies. The Fund's investment adviser is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
