The Index provides exposure to a global universe of publicly traded small- and medium-capitalization companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold and/or silver mining, hold real property that has the potential to produce at least 50% of the Company's revenue from gold or silver mining when developed, or primarily invest in gold or silver. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in companies that are involved in the gold mining industry. The Index is the exclusive property of 4asset-management GmbH, which has contracted with Structured Solutions AG to maintain and calculate the Index. The Fund's investment advisor is Van Eck Associates Corporation.

The Index is free float adjusted, liquidity tested and market capitalization-weighted index that is designed to measure broad based equity market performance of global companies involved in the lithium industry, as defined by Structured Solutions AG. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in the securities of the Index and in depositary receipts based on the securities in the Index. The Fund will concentrate its investments (will hold 25% or more of its total assets) in a particular industry or group of industries to approximately the same extent that the Index is concentrated. The Index is sponsored by Structured Solutions AG, the index provider. The Fund's investment adviser is Global X Management Company LLC.
