The Index is a measure of large-cap the United States stock market performance. It is a float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index of 500 United States operating companies and real estate investment trusts selected through a process that factors criteria, such as liquidity, price, market capitalization and financial viability. The Fund invests in common stock issued by public companies. The Fund invests in derivatives, which are financial instruments whose value is derived from the value of an underlying asset, interest rate or index. The Fund's advisor is ProShare Advisors LLC.

NYSEARCA:SPXSDirexion Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X Shares ETF, formerly Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X Shares, seeks daily investment results of 300% of the inverse (or opposite) of the price performance of the S&P 500 Index. The S&P 500 Index is a capitalization-weighted index composed of 500 domestic common stocks. Standard & Poor's selects the 500 stocks comprising the Index on the basis of market values and industry diversification. Most of the stocks in the Index are issued by the 500 largest companies, in terms of the aggregate market value of their outstanding stock, and generally are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It invests in sectors, such as information technology, financials, health care, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, industrials, utilities, materials and telecommunication services.
