The Index is an equal-dollar weighted index that is designed to objectively identify and select 100 stocks from the universe of stocks, to which Value Line assigns a #1 ranking in the Value Line Timeliness Ranking System (the Ranking System). At any one time, only 100 stocks are assigned a #1 ranking in the Ranking System. The Index is rebalanced quarterly. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Fund's investment advisor is First Trust Advisors L.P.
