Beacon Hill Resources Plc (Beacon Hill) is engaged in mining, including the development, through investment, of mining opportunities. The company’s business activities include mining activities as well as development activities. The Company, through its subsidiary Minas Moatize Limitada, operates the Minas Moatize Coal Mine in the Moatize Coal basin, Tete Province of Mozambique. The Company holds majority interest in the Changara Coal Project, an exploration project that is located within close proximity to its flagship Minas Moatize Coal Project. The Changara Project is a coal exploration project and covers a licence area of 184 square kilometers. The Company, through its subsidiary, BHR Investments Mauritius Ltd (BHRIM), entered into an agreement with Acacia Mineraçao, Lda to acquire, in stages, up to a 70% interest in the Pig Iron opportunity, known as Licence 3788L, located in the Tete Province of Mozambique.
