(PAETEC) is engaged in providing large, medium-sized and small business customers in metropolitan areas with a package of integrated communications services, which includes data services, including broadband Internet access services and virtual private network (VPN) services, and voice services, including local telephone services and domestic and international long distance services. It is a holding company that conducts its operations through its wholly owned subsidiaries. PAETEC provides a range of voice and data services on a retail basis to large, medium-sized and small business customers. PAETEC also offers a range of data and voice carrier services on a wholesale basis to other communications companies and to larger-scale purchasers of network capacity. In March 2010, the Company acquired Amherst, New York-based electric supplier, U.S. Energy Partners, LLC. In May 2011, it acquired XETA Technologies, Inc.
