State Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, State Bank of Long Island (the Bank) and its subsidiaries. The Bank serves its client base through 17 branches in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Manhattan. The Bank offers a range of banking services to its diverse client base which includes commercial real estate owners and developers, small to middle market businesses, professional service firms, municipalities and consumers. Retail and commercial products include checking accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts, commercial loans, construction loans, commercial real estate loans, small business lines of credit, cash management services and telephone and online banking. In addition, the Bank also provides access to annuity products and mutual funds. On January 1, 2012, Valley National Bancorp merged with State Bancorp, Inc.
