Encore Energy Partners LP (ENP) is a limited partnership engaged in the acquisition, exploitation, and development of oil and natural gas reserves from onshore fields in the United States. The Company’s properties and oil and natural gas reserves are located in four core areas: the Big Horn Basin in Wyoming and Montana; the Permian Basin in West Texas and New Mexico; the Williston Basin in North Dakota and Montana, and the Arkoma Basin in Arkansas and Oklahoma. As of December 31, 2010, ENP operated properties representing approximately 86% of its proved reserves. Its network of natural gas gathering systems permits it to transport production from its wells. On July 29, 2011, it consummated the acquisition of producing oil and natural gas assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas (the Purchased Assets). On December 1, 2011, ENP merged into a wholly owned subsidiary of Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC.
