It operates through five segments: Retail Ireland, Bank of Ireland Life, Retail UK, Corporate and Treasury, and Group Centre. These services are provided by the Company in Ireland, the United Kingdom and internationally. It operates a distribution network of over 250 branches and approximately 1,750 automated teller machines (ATMs) in the Republic of Ireland, and access to 11,500 branches and over 2,500 ATMs in the United Kingdom through the Company's relationship as financial services partner with the United Kingdom post office.
