KBW, Inc. (KBW) is a full-service investment bank specializing in the financial services industry. The Company’s principal activities are investment banking, including mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services (M&A), equity and fixed income securities offerings, and mutual thrift conversions, equity and fixed income sales and trading, and research that provides fundamental, objective analysis that identifies investment opportunities and helps its investor customers make investment decisions. The Company focuses bank and thrift holding companies, banks, thrifts, insurance companies, broker-dealers, mortgage banks, mortgage and equity real estate investment trusts (REITs), consumer and specialty finance firms, financial processing companies and securities exchanges. As of December 31, 2011, the Company ceased offering asset management services to clients. In February 2013, KBW Inc merged with Stifel Financial Corp.
