Strategic Global Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to achieve a high level of current income. As a secondary objective, the Fund seeks capital appreciation, to the extent consistent with its primary objective. The Fund may invest in securities that are subject to legal or contractual restrictions on resale. The Fund invests in various sectors, such as airlines, automobiles, capital markets, commercial services and supplies, consumer finance, diversified financial services, hotels, restaurants and leisure, household durables, real estate investment trust (REIT), real estate management and development, transportation infrastructure, collateralized debt obligations, commercial mortgage-backed securities, the United States government obligations and non-United States government obligations. The Fund's investment advisor is UBS Asset Management (Americas) Inc. (UBS AM).
