On September 7, 2011, the Bank merged with and into Capital Bank, National Association (Capital Bank, NA), a subsidiary of Capital Bank Financial Corp. (CBF). CBF owns approximately 90% interest of the Company. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's net investment of $315.3 million in Capital Bank, NA. As of December 31, 2011, commercial loans totaled $2.9 billion (67.0% of its total loan portfolio). As of December 31, 2011, consumer loans totaled $1.4 billion. The Bank offers private banking and wealth management services to affluent clients, business owners and retirees. As of December 31, 2011, total deposits were $5.1 billion.
