European Strategic Balanced Fund is a closed-end investment trust. The Fund's investment objective is to seek attractive risk-adjusted total returns and lower volatility in European equities and fixed income securities by investing in three managed strategies, including an equity momentum portfolio, an equity value portfolio and a fixed income portfolio. The investment objective of the equity momentum portfolio is to provide short-term returns by investing in European stocks. The investment objective of the equity value portfolio is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in European stocks. The investment objective of the fixed income portfolio is to generate modest income and provide for lower volatility and some potential downside protection by investing in European fixed income securities.
