Frontier Rare Earths Limited (Frontier) is a mineral exploration and development company. The Company is principally focused on the development of rare earths projects in Africa. The Company’s flagship asset is the Zandkopsdrift rare earth project, which is located in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa and covers an area of approximately 60,000 hectares. The Zandkopsdrift rare earth project is an undeveloped rare earth deposit. The Company has a direct around 64% interest and an 85% interest in Zandkopsdrift. The Zandkopsdrift rare earth project holds a mineral resource of around 42.5 million tons at an average grade of 2.23% containing approximately 940,000 tons total rare earth oxides (applying a 1% cut-off) and with 78% of the mineral resource in the indicated category. The Zandkopsdrift deposit consists of a carbonate-rich, magmatic rock deposit containing rare earth element bearing mineralization within outcropping and near surface, deeply weathered phases.
