It also provides project logistics services, including the transport of products for machinery and plant engineering sectors, as well as other tailored services to customers. The Tank Container Logistics segment organizes tank container transport of goods, as well as leases tank containers. This segment primarily transports liquid and temperature-controlled products of the chemical, mineral oil, and compressed gas industries through a fleet of approximately 8,800 tank containers. The company serves chemical, petroleum, automotive engineering and supplier, and paper industries. VTG Aktiengesellschaft was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
