Key Points

• Near-term copper futures rose by two cents across the board, with the June contract settling at $4.84 per pound.
• The July 2025 contract last traded at $4.85 after touching a session high of $4.92, on volume of 37,650 contracts (versus 45,092 on Friday).
• Total trading volume climbed to 81,661 contracts from Friday’s 77,594, while open interest fell by 2,419 to 201,878 contracts.
