About Williams Companies

Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB), Inc. is a leading energy infrastructure firm based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that specializes in the transportation, processing and storage of natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs). Established in 1908, the company has grown from its regional pipeline origins into a diversified midstream operator serving key supply basins and market hubs across North America. Its assets include extensive interstate pipeline networks, gas processing plants and fractionation facilities that support the movement of raw and refined hydrocarbons from wellhead to end-use markets.

The company’s pipeline portfolio features the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line (Transco), one of the largest capacity pipelines in the United States, as well as the Northwest Pipeline, which transports gas from producing regions in the Rocky Mountains to consuming markets in the Pacific Northwest. Williams also operates an integrated system of intrastate pipelines, gathering lines and compressor stations in major shale plays such as the Marcellus and Utica basins, where its processing plants extract and treat raw gas streams.

In addition to its gas transmission business, Williams Companies manages a network of NGL fractionation and storage facilities located primarily in the U.S. Gulf Coast and Appalachia. These facilities separate ethane, propane and other NGL components for petrochemical and industrial customers, and provide storage and midstream services that facilitate export of LPG and other products. Through joint ventures and strategic partnerships, the company has expanded its NGL export capability via marine terminals on the Gulf Coast.

Williams Companies is governed by a board of directors and an executive management team headquartered in Tulsa. The company’s operations span the continental United States and extend into select Canadian markets, reflecting its commitment to reliable energy delivery and midstream innovation. Focused on operational efficiency and safety, Williams continues to invest in infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions to meet evolving energy demand.
