Jupiter Energy Limited is engaged in exploration for oil and gas in Kazakhstan, and appraisal, development and production of oil and gas properties in Kazakhstan. The Company owns an exploration permit known as Block 31 in the Mangistau Basin, West Kazakhstan. Its Block 31 is approximately 120 square kilometers (km2) in size and covers an area of oil production. The Company has its operations based in the port city of Aktau, which is located approximately 80 kilometers (km) from Block 31. The Company also holds approximately eight drilling wells, which include J-51, J-52, J-58, J-59 and Well 19, among others. Its Kazakhstan property has over three oil refineries located in Pavlodar (northern region), Atyrau (western region) and Shymkent (the South) with an estimated total refining capacity standing at approximately 430,000 barrels of oil per day. Its Mangistau Sub-basin is located in western Kazakhstan bordering the Caspian Sea.
