Aya Gold & Silver is a Canada‐based exploration and production company focused on the development of precious metal assets in the Kingdom of Morocco. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company acquires, explores and produces silver and other metals from long‐life mineral deposits in a politically stable, mining‐friendly jurisdiction. The company’s flagship asset is the Zgounder silver mine, which entered commissioning in early 2021 and began routine production shortly thereafter. Zgounder is designed to process several thousand tonnes of ore per day and produces high‐purity silver ingots under offtake arrangements with major international refineries. In addition to Zgounder, Aya holds interests in the Boumadine polymetallic project—hosting zinc, lead and silver—and the Tislit gold project in central Morocco, where exploration and development work are ongoing to define additional resource potential.
