The Machinery & Metal Products unit designs and manufactures industrial compressors, extrusion and compounding equipment, and precision metal components for automotive, aerospace and energy markets. Additionally, UBE’s Energy & Environmental Solutions segment operates power generation facilities and develops advanced membrane technologies for fuel‐cell systems and water treatment.

Under the leadership of President and CEO Naoki Shoji, UBE continues to invest in R&D centers across Japan, China, Thailand and the United States, emphasizing sustainability, resource efficiency and next-generation materials.
