NEW YORK (AP) — In a story published May 23, 2024, about rising credit card delinquencies, The Associated Press erroneously reported the historical context for the share of credit card debt that’s more than 90 days overdue. During the first quarter it rose to its highest level in 12 years, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s report on first-quarter household debt.
