About Dorel Industries

Dorel Industries (OTCMKTS:DIIBF) Inc is a publicly traded Canadian company engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of consumer products across two core segments. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Dorel serves retailers and end consumers in North America, Europe and select markets in Asia and Latin America. The company markets globally recognized brands and maintains an integrated supply chain encompassing product development, manufacturing and distribution.

The Dorel Juvenile segment produces a wide range of baby and children’s products, including car seats, strollers, high chairs, play yards and nursery furniture. Key brands in this division include Safety 1st, Maxi-Cosi, Quinny, Cosco and 4moms, which are sold through major mass merchants, specialty retailers and ecommerce channels. Dorel Juvenile maintains design and engineering centers in North America and Europe to ensure compliance with evolving safety standards and consumer preferences.

The Dorel Home segment offers a variety of home furnishings and décor products, encompassing both wood and upholstered furniture, area rugs and accent pieces. Products under this segment are sold to mass-merchant, specialty and online retailers under private-label and owned-brand names such as The Novogratz, Sonia Kids, CosmoLiving and Dorel Home. Manufacturing is conducted through a combination of company-owned facilities and strategic partnerships in Asia and North America.

Founded in 1962, Dorel Industries has grown through a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions. In 2021, the company completed the divestiture of its Sports segment to focus exclusively on juvenile and home furnishings. Dorel continues to invest in product innovation, supply chain optimization and digital marketing to support its global retail partnerships and consumer-facing brands.
