About JetBlue Airways

JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU) is a low-cost scheduled passenger airline headquartered in Long Island City, New York. Since commencing service in 2000, the carrier has built a reputation for combining competitive fares with enhanced onboard amenities, including free in-flight entertainment, complimentary snacks and beverages, and onboard Wi-Fi. JetBlue operates a single fleet type of Airbus A320 family and Embraer 190 aircraft, which supports its focus on efficiency and operational consistency.

The airline’s core offerings include economy-class travel and a premium business-class product known as Mint, which features lie-flat seats, curated culinary options and elevated service on select transcontinental and international routes. JetBlue’s frequent-flyer program, TrueBlue, provides a points-based structure that allows members to earn and redeem rewards across its network without blackout dates, as well as partnerships with hotel, car rental and credit card providers.

JetBlue serves more than 100 destinations across the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America and, more recently, Europe, with transatlantic flights to London. Its primary operating bases include New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport, Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport and Orlando International Airport, supported by focus cities in Newark, Los Angeles and San Juan.

Founded by entrepreneur David Neeleman in 1998, JetBlue sought to differentiate itself through customer-friendly service and innovative cabin design. Robin Hayes has served as chief executive officer since February 2016, guiding the airline through expansion of its Mint offering, network growth and strategic partnerships. Throughout its history, JetBlue has emphasized a balance of low fares and quality service in a competitive U.S. airline market.
