About Green Plains

Green Plains (NASDAQ:GPRE) Inc. is a leading producer of fuel-grade ethanol and related co-products in the United States. Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, the company operates an integrated network of biorefineries that convert corn and other grains into renewable fuels. Through its production facilities, Green Plains supplies ethanol to domestic fuel markets and export channels, supporting efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote cleaner-burning transportation options.

Beyond ethanol, Green Plains manufactures a range of co-products that add value throughout the agricultural supply chain. These include distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), a high-protein feed ingredient widely used by livestock and poultry producers, as well as corn oil and specialty food-grade ingredients. The company’s vertically integrated model allows it to optimize production processes, improve operational efficiencies and capture additional revenue streams tied to commodity markets.

Green Plains also offers marketing, logistics and risk management services designed to support its own production network as well as third-party agribusiness customers. Through its commodity merchandising arm, the company leverages an established trading platform to manage price exposure, coordinate transportation logistics and facilitate the sale of bulk agricultural products across North America and into international markets.

Founded in the mid-2000s and formerly known as Green Plains Renewable Energy, the company rebranded to Green Plains Inc. as it expanded its geographic footprint. Today, Green Plains operates more than a dozen biorefineries across the Midwest and maintains corporate offices in key agricultural hubs. Todd Becker, who has served as president and chief executive officer since 2014, leads a management team focused on innovation, sustainability and long-term value creation for shareholders and stakeholders alike.
