The company’s network footprint spans tens of thousands of kilometers of optical fiber and serves over 20 million mobile customers and millions of fixed-line subscribers across its footprint.
Governed by a board of directors appointed by the Swedish and Finnish governments—its largest shareholders—TeliaSonera’s leadership is headed by President and Chief Executive Officer Allison Kirkby, who took the helm in 2019. Under her stewardship, the company continues to modernize its infrastructure, expand its digital services portfolio and pursue strategic partnerships to enhance its competitive position in an increasingly converged telecom market.
