Meta is cutting 10% of its workforce. Microsoft offered voluntary retirement to 7% of U.S. employees. Oracle, Amazon, Snap, and Block have done the same. About Par Pacific

Par Pacific (NYSE:PARR) (NYSE: PARR) is a diversified downstream energy company engaged in the refining, marketing and logistics of petroleum products. Through its subsidiaries, Par Pacific operates the Par Hawaii Refinery on the island of Oʻahu, which processes crude oil into transportation fuels such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, as well as asphalt, petroleum coke and sulfur. In the Rocky Mountain region, the company owns and operates the Salt Lake City Refinery in Utah and associated logistics infrastructure, including pipelines and storage terminals, to support both crude supply and product distribution.

In marketing its refined products, Par Pacific maintains a network of branded and unbranded wholesale accounts across Hawaii and the U.S. mainland. In Hawaii, the company sells fuel under the Hele and 76 brands to retail service stations and bulk customers, while supplying jet fuel to Honolulu’s primary airport. On the mainland, it distributes refined products to third-party distributors, commercial customers and local fuel terminals.

Par Pacific also invests in midstream and logistics assets that connect crude producers to its refineries. These include pipeline interests, marine docks and storage facilities that enhance crude sourcing flexibility and supply resilience. The company’s integrated business model aims to capture value across the energy supply chain, from feedstock procurement through product delivery.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Par Pacific was established in 2015 and completed its initial public offering in 2017. Under the leadership of President and Chief Executive Officer Kym C. Hamilton, the company focuses on operational reliability, asset optimization and strategic growth opportunities in its key operating regions.
