Challenger Diversified Property Group (CDI) offers investors exposure to a portfolio of properties, with stable income returns. CDI is constituted by two trusts: Challenger Diversified Property Trust 1 and Challenger Diversified Property Trust 2, the units in which have been stapled. Challenger Diversified Property Trust 1 holds CDI's passive' property assets. Challenger Diversified Property Trust 2 holds active' property transactions undertaken on behalf of CDI. CDI is a traditional Australian real estate investment trusts (A-REIT) deriving its revenue from rental income from its passive property investments. CDI holds investments in 27 office, industrial and retail properties located primarily (93.5%) in Australia. In July 2014, CDI announced that Challenger Life Nominees Pty Ltd as trustee of Challenger Australia Listed Property Holding Trust has completed compulsory acquisition of all outstanding CDI units.
