Ruspetro Ltd, formerly Ruspetro plc, is an independent oil production company operating in Western Siberia. The Company's principal activities include exploration for and production of crude oil in the Khanty-Mansiysk region of the Russian Federation. The Company has approximately three oil and gas exploration and production licenses, including the Pottymsko-Inginsky (PI) Licence, the Vostochno-Inginsky (VI) Licence and the Palyanovo Licence. Its field covers over 1,200 square kilometers, which is located in the west Siberian basin on the Krasnoleninsky Arch. The Company's subsidiaries include Ruspetro JSC, which is engaged in crude oil sale; Ruspetro Holding Limited, which is a holding company, and OJSC INGA and OJSC Trans-oil, which are engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil. The main productive reservoir types within the license blocks are the limestone-dolomite streaks in the Abalak formation and the sandstones and siltstones found in the Tyumen formation.
