Aztar Corporation was a U.S.-based gaming and hospitality company that operated casinos, hotels and related entertainment properties. Its portfolio included the Tropicana casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as riverboat and dockside casinos in several Midwestern and Southern markets.

The company also operated hotel accommodations, restaurants, entertainment venues and other amenities associated with its casino resorts. Aztar served customers primarily in the United States, with properties located in markets including Nevada, New Jersey, Indiana and Missouri.

Aztar was formerly associated with the Ramada hotel and casino business before adopting the Aztar name. In 2007, Columbia Sussex Corporation acquired Aztar, after which its properties became part of Tropicana Entertainment. Aztar Corporation is therefore a historical company, and its former Nasdaq symbol, AZR, is no longer associated with an independently traded public company.
