The Company operates its business, through Cogdell Spencer LP, its operating partnership subsidiary (the Operating Partnership), and its subsidiaries. The Company operates in two segments: Property Operations, and Design-Build and Development. Property Operations owns and manages properties and manages properties for third parties. Design-Build and Development provides strategic planning, design, construction, development, and project management services for properties owned by the Company and for third parties. In July 2010, the Company acquired St. Francis Outpatient Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
