It is also developing NEXDrape, an incise surgical drape designed for patients with impaired skin; and NEXDerm, an adhesive tape designed to secure central lines and intravenous tubes and devices to patients before, during, and after medical treatment. In addition, the company engages in the converting and packaging business. The company was formerly known as AquaMed Technologies, Inc. and changed its name to NEXGEL, Inc. in November 2019. The company was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
