Its products include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium, carbon dioxide and specialty gases.

The company provides gases through on-site production facilities, pipelines, bulk deliveries and packaged cylinders. It also designs and builds industrial gas plants and offers technologies and services for applications such as hydrogen production, carbon capture, clean energy, semiconductor manufacturing, metal fabrication and medical care.

Linde traces its history to 1879, when German engineer Carl von Linde developed refrigeration and gas-related technologies. The modern company was formed through the 2018 merger of Linde AG and Praxair. Linde serves customers across the Americas, Europe, Asia and other international markets, with operations and facilities in numerous countries.

Sanjiv Lamba has served as Linde’s chief executive officer since 2022 and is also a member of the company’s board of directors. Linde is headquartered in Woking, England, and is incorporated in Ireland.
