Chorus Limited is a New Zealand telecommunications infrastructure company that owns and operates the country’s nationwide fixed-line communications network. Chorus’s network supports high-speed broadband, voice, data and other digital communications services. Its infrastructure includes a nationwide fiber-optic network developed through New Zealand’s Ultra-Fast Broadband initiative, as well as remaining copper-based connections and related network assets. The company also provides access to network facilities and associated services for telecommunications operators.

Chorus was formed in 2011 after being separated from Telecom New Zealand, now known as Spark New Zealand, as part of the country’s telecommunications reforms. Its operations are focused primarily on New Zealand, where it continues to invest in expanding, maintaining and upgrading the fixed-line broadband infrastructure used by businesses, households and public-sector organizations.
