Josemaria Resources Inc. was a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing the Josemaria copper-gold-silver project in Argentina. The company did not operate a diversified portfolio of commercial products; its principal business was the exploration, evaluation and development of mineral properties.

The Josemaria project is located in San Juan Province in western Argentina, near the Chilean border. The project is designed as a large-scale open-pit mining operation that would produce copper concentrate containing gold and silver byproducts, subject to permitting, financing, construction and other development requirements.

Josemaria Resources was formerly known as NGEx Resources Inc. and adopted its current name to reflect its focus on the Josemaria project. In 2022, Lundin Mining Corporation completed its acquisition of Josemaria Resources, and the project became part of Lundin Mining’s portfolio. As a result, Josemaria Resources is no longer an independent operating company in the same form as when it traded under the JOSMF symbol.
