Polyus’s principal operations are located in Russia, including the Krasnoyarsk region, the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Its portfolio includes the Olimpiada, Blagodatnoye, Verninskoye, Natalka and Kuranakh operations, as well as the Sukhoi Log gold project, one of the company’s significant long-term development assets. Polyus also conducts geological exploration and resource development in areas surrounding its operating sites.

The company traces its origins to the gold-mining assets of Norilsk Nickel and became an independent gold producer through the development of Polyus Gold. In 2016, Polyus Gold International was reorganized and Polyus PJSC became the group’s principal operating and publicly listed company. Polyus serves global gold markets through the sale of refined production and is headquartered in Moscow, Russia.
