Seven Generations Energy developed large-scale, multi-well drilling projects and related infrastructure to support the gathering, processing and transportation of its petroleum products. Its production was primarily directed to North American energy markets, with natural gas and liquids marketed through regional pipeline and sales networks.

The company was founded in 2008 and became a publicly traded business in Canada in 2014. In 2021, Seven Generations Energy was acquired by ARC Resources Ltd. and combined with ARC’s operations. As a result, Seven Generations Energy no longer operates as an independent publicly traded company, and its former assets are managed within ARC Resources.
