Greg Stanton was born in Long Island, New York. Stanton graduated from Cortez High School. He earned a B.A. in political science and history from Marquette University in 1992 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1995. Stanton's career experience includes working as a deputy attorney general and an education attorney.
