Loomis Earnings Headlines

Uncle Sam now owns 9.9% of Intel
On August 22, 2025, the U.S. government became one of Intel's largest shareholders - converting CHIPS Act grants into a 9.9% equity stake worth 8.9 billion dollars at 20.47 per share. Weeks earlier, the DoD took a 15% stake in rare-earth miner MP Materials, and the DOE followed with a 5% stake in Lithium Americas alongside a 2.23 billion dollar loan. Federal equity ownership in semiconductors, rare earths, and lithium - at this scale - hasn't happened since World War II. Porter Stansberry says the rules of investing are changing, and the stocks positioned to win this realignment aren't the ones the financial press is covering.tc pixel

About Loomis

Loomis (OTCMKTS:LOIMF) (OTCMKTS: LOIMF) is a Swedish security company specializing in cash handling and secure logistics services. Headquartered in Stockholm, the company offers comprehensive solutions for the transportation, processing and management of banknotes, coins and other valuables. Its services are designed to support financial institutions, retailers, wholesalers and public sector organizations in maintaining secure and efficient cash operations.

The company’s core activities include cash-in-transit (CIT) operations, ATM servicing, cash processing at high-security vaults and end-to-end cash management. Loomis employs a network of armored vehicles, secure facilities and proprietary technology to ensure the integrity of cash flows and reduce operational risk for its clients. In addition to physical logistics, Loomis offers electronic reporting and reconciliation tools that enhance transparency and control over cash inventories.

Loomis traces its modern origins to the 2008 spin-off of Securitas AB’s cash handling business, although its roots in the security and express transport industry date back more than a century. Since its establishment as an independent entity, the company has expanded both organically and through targeted acquisitions, growing its presence across multiple continents.

Today, Loomis operates in over 20 countries spanning Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Joakim Andersson, the firm continues to invest in technology, safety protocols and sustainability initiatives aimed at driving operational excellence and meeting evolving customer needs in the global cash logistics market.
