About Tokuyama

Tokuyama (OTCMKTS:TKYMY) (OTCMKTS: TKYMY) is a diversified Japanese chemical company headquartered in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Established in 1918 as a cement producer, it has since grown into a global supplier of specialty chemicals, materials and industrial products. The company operates through several business segments including cement, fine chemicals, silicones, polycrystalline silicon, electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) and medical-dental materials.

In its cement division, Tokuyama manufactures and sells portland cement and slag cement to domestic and overseas markets, supporting infrastructure and construction projects. The fine chemicals segment produces caustic soda, chlorine derivatives and inorganic chemicals used in water treatment, electronics and paper manufacturing. Tokuyama’s electronics materials operations include polycrystalline silicon for photovoltaic cells and ultra-high purity silicon wafers for semiconductor device fabrication. Its EMD products serve the battery, alkaline cell and catalyst industries, while the medical-dental division supplies diagnostic reagents, dental resin materials and fluoride products used by healthcare professionals.

With manufacturing sites in Japan, China, Europe and North America, Tokuyama serves a broad range of markets in Asia, the Americas and beyond. The company is governed by a board of directors and led by an executive management team responsible for driving innovation in advanced materials, expanding global production capabilities and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and environmental stewardship.
