About Vroom

Vroom (NASDAQ:VRM) was an online used-vehicle retailer that operated under the Vroom brand and traded on the Nasdaq under the symbol VRM. The company used a digital platform to sell pre-owned vehicles, allowing customers to browse inventory, arrange financing, complete purchases and have vehicles delivered to their homes.

Historically, Vroom served customers across the United States and offered related services including vehicle trade-ins, financing, protection products and vehicle reconditioning. The company also operated dealership and logistics functions to support the acquisition, preparation and delivery of used vehicles.

In January 2024, Vroom announced that it would wind down its ecommerce used-vehicle business and dealership operations. Its remaining activities have been focused on its subsidiaries, including United Auto Credit Corporation, which provides automotive financing, and CarStory, which offers data, analytics and digital retailing solutions for the automotive industry. Vroom’s business and leadership structure have changed significantly since the company ended its primary vehicle-retailing operations.
