Aena S.M.E. (OTCMKTS:ANNSF) is a Spanish airport operator responsible for managing and developing a large network of airports and heliports. Its activities include airport operations, passenger and aircraft services, aviation security coordination, air cargo facilities, parking, and the management of retail, food-and-beverage, advertising, and other commercial concessions at its facilities.

The company operates 46 airports and two heliports in Spain, serving destinations across the country and supporting domestic, international, and regional air travel. Through its international business, Aena also participates in the operation and management of airports outside Spain, including London Luton Airport in the United Kingdom and airport assets in Brazil.

Aena was created in 1991 as Spain’s airport operator and was reorganized as a publicly traded company in 2015. The Spanish state remains the company’s principal shareholder through ENAIRE. Aena is headquartered in Madrid and is led by chairman and chief executive officer Maurici Lucena.
