About Cheniere Energy

Cheniere Energy (NYSE:LNG) is a Houston-based energy company focused on the production, liquefaction and export of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Through its subsidiaries, the company purchases natural gas, processes it into LNG and sells it to customers under long-term agreements and in the global LNG market. Its operations also include LNG-related infrastructure, marketing and transportation activities.

Cheniere’s principal assets include the Sabine Pass LNG facility in Louisiana and the Corpus Christi LNG facility in Texas. These facilities receive natural gas, convert it into LNG for shipment by specialized vessels and, in some cases, provide related storage and marine terminal services. Cheniere also operates or participates in associated natural gas pipeline and infrastructure systems that support its liquefaction operations.

The company has played a significant role in the expansion of U.S. LNG exports, with Sabine Pass beginning commercial LNG exports in 2016. Cheniere supplies customers in markets across Europe, Asia and other regions, helping connect U.S. natural gas production with international demand. Jack Fusco has served as Cheniere’s president and chief executive officer since 2016.
