About Village Super Market

Village Super Market (NASDAQ:VLGEA) is a supermarket operator headquartered in Springfield, New Jersey. The company operates retail grocery stores under the ShopRite and Fairway Market banners, serving customers in the northeastern United States.

Its supermarkets offer a broad selection of fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy products, bakery items, prepared foods, packaged groceries, household merchandise and health and beauty products. Stores also provide services such as online grocery ordering, pickup and delivery, pharmacy services at select locations, and other customer-focused offerings.

Village Super Market has a long operating history dating to 1937 and is a member of Wakefern Food Corp., the cooperative that supplies and supports ShopRite supermarkets. Through its ShopRite and Fairway locations, the company serves communities primarily in New Jersey, New York and Maryland.

The company remains associated with the Sumas family, which has played a significant role in its ownership and management since its founding. Village Super Market is publicly traded on the Nasdaq under the symbol VLGEA.
