About ImmunityBio

ImmunityBio (NASDAQ:IBRX) is a biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing immunotherapies designed to activate and strengthen the body’s immune system against cancer and infectious diseases. The company combines cytokine-based therapies, vaccines, cellular therapies and other immune-modulating technologies in an effort to create durable treatment responses.

Its lead product, ANKTIVA (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept-pmln), is an interleukin-15 receptor agonist immune stimulator. In 2024, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved ANKTIVA in combination with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin for adults with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer that is unresponsive to BCG and includes carcinoma in situ, with or without papillary tumors. ImmunityBio is also evaluating ANKTIVA and other investigational therapies in additional cancer settings.

ImmunityBio was founded by physician and entrepreneur Patrick Soon-Shiong and is headquartered in the United States. The company’s research and clinical development activities have included collaborations and trials involving patients in multiple countries. Its leadership has included Soon-Shiong as executive chairman and global chief medical officer, with Richard Adcock serving as president and chief executive officer.
