Sonoma Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SNOA) develops and commercializes non-antibiotic, non-steroidal products for wound care, dermatology, eye care, oral care and animal health. Its products are based largely on Microcyn technology, a stabilized hypochlorous-acid formulation designed for use in cleansing, managing and protecting damaged or irritated tissue.

The company’s product portfolio has included wound cleansers and gels, dermatological treatments, scar-care products, ophthalmic solutions and veterinary products marketed under brands such as Microcyn, Dermacyn, Celacyn and MicrocynAH. These products are intended for applications including wound management, skin conditions, post-procedure care, eye discomfort and animal wound care.

Sonoma Pharmaceuticals sells its products through distributors, commercial partners and other channels in the United States and selected international markets. The company was formerly known as Oculus Innovative Sciences and adopted the Sonoma Pharmaceuticals name in 2016.
