Commercial International Bank (Egypt) S.A.E. (OTCMKTS:CIBEY) is an Egyptian financial institution that provides banking and related financial services to corporate, institutional and individual customers. The bank operates through a network of branches and other service channels in Egypt, offering deposit accounts, current accounts, personal and business lending, credit cards, and digital banking services.

CIB’s corporate and institutional banking activities include working-capital finance, trade finance, cash management, foreign exchange, treasury services and structured lending. Through its investment banking and capital-markets operations, the bank also provides advisory, arranging and underwriting services, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

The institution was established in 1975 as Chase Manhattan Bank in Egypt and was subsequently renamed Commercial International Bank after changes in ownership and its corporate structure. CIB primarily serves the Egyptian market and has developed a broad customer base across large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, institutions and retail consumers. Its shares are listed in Egypt, while American depositary receipts trade over the counter in the United States under the symbol CIBEY.
